Marlene graduated from the faculty of Law and Political Science of Saint Joseph University with an LLB in Business Law in 2022.

In 2023, she successfully completed a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at the esteemed City University of London, obtaining a qualifying law degree and gaining comprehensive knowledge of the common law system and English law.

Throughout her academic years, Marlene played a vital role as a member of the Politico-Juris club at Saint Joseph University. Specifically, she served on the Conference Committee, responsible for selecting topics for the club’s conferences. The events were dedicated to exploring issues and crises with significant legal and political implications.

In 2021, she undertook an internship at INDEVCO group, where she enhanced her comprehension of commercial practices. During this experience, she actively contributed to projects involving company incorporations in Cyprus and Greece, thereby deepening her understanding of business operations in those regions. Additionally, she honed her research and analytical skills through her involvement in diverse tasks during the internship

In O&M, Marlene specializes in commercial law and corporate matters, focusing on the UAE and Lebanon. Her responsibilities include guiding clients through the intricacies of company incorporation across different jurisdictions, drafting and reviewing contractual agreements, and ensuring legal compliance. With her profound understanding of both the civil law and common law systems, Marlene stands as a valuable asset in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), specifically in the realm of arbitration. Her expertise positions her to provide insightful guidance and contribute valuable perspectives, effectively bridging the gap between these two legal systems.

She is trilingual (Arabic, English and French).
